Riad Rehman , MS Business Analytics, Data Analytics I attended the Baruch Tech Expo on April 26, 2022. Over 10 firms from various data-intense sectors presented. The ratio of representatives-to-students was notably high.  The event was comprised of 3 rounds of breakout sessions. Each session had 1-2 firms presenting. Each firm had 1-3 representatives present.  The presenters were very engaging. Each presenter referenced roles that were actively hiring. A focus of the breakouts was getting into the details of the firms’ hiring process and what their hiring managers are looking for (e.g. certifications, relevant experience, demonstration of a passion in Business, etc.). The Baruch Virtual Tech Expo was a great opportunity for students to learn exactly what firms are looking for today.
